About Us

We are a new youth theatre company under the direction of Valerie Brook who along with her husband Colin has directed youth theatre over 30 years. To start the next decade of youth theatre she has decided to start a new company....

Mar-val Theatre.

Members have been taken from 12 to early 20’s and rehearsals are held at Bramhall Recreation Centre on Sudays between 1.30 and 5.00pm.Valerie had directed Youth Unlimited Theatre Group for 30 years and is now taking the reins of this new company.

Some of Valerie’s past performers have gone on to appear on stage and screen including Copacabana, Fame and on TV in Coronation Street, Hollyoaks, X Factor, Clocking Off, Soapstar Superstar and the International Cirque du Soleil and many more.

Past performers include Nicola Dawn, Richard Fleeshman, Ben Crompton, Mark Hadfield and Paul Critchlow amongst others.

After a three year break Valerie has come back to direct this new company for her fourth decade.

To celebrate this new beginning there was a gala production at the Studio 1 Theatre at the Lowry,Salford Quays which got the new group off to a flying start and was very well received.

This current product is the very popular ‘High School Musical ‘to be performed on stage at the Plaza Theatre, Stockport.We hope you can come along and enjoy this very exciting show!!
